Do you think your system has been locked by the US Department of Homeland Security? Well, we strongly doubt this fact. This decent law enforcement organization of the United States of America has nothing to do with this locker and the message contained inside the notice itself. Then, what does this Homeland Security warning mean? It is not associated with any of the US law enforcement bodies at all. This is a virus classified as ransomware, developed by the pack of cyber frauds and online hackers.

You have 48 hours to pay the fine - fake alert associated with ransomware
The large number of computers these days aren't protected against cyber exposure, even if they have certain security software installed. This is the consequence of many factors, however, in the majority of the cases computers get infected as a result of poor update of anti-malware databases of security applications installed on them, or, in rare cases, this happens when users neglect to install certain anti-spyware tool onto their system. Ransomware lockers occupy quite a large niche among all other types of infections. These days the desktop lockers are presented in the form of a scary police warning (background) that says you have 48 hours to pay the fine (sometimes they assert you have 72 hours to pay the fine). Well, a fine for doing what? This is a good question. In many cases users have never done anything illegal, yet they're being actively accused of doing such things on their computers by the fake police alert on their screens. No doubt, this is all very scary, especially for those computer users who don't realize that this notifications has nothing to do with the police.

How to remove meta.7search.com browser hijacker
The presence of 7search.com inside of your browser is surely not a pleasant experience for all users who’re active online. This means that all their search queries will be redirected via meta.7search.com. This type of browser rerouting is often caused by certain type of software that is classified as the potentially unwanted one. This is done in order to draw some traffic and user’s attention to certain goods or products advertised on 7search.com. Yet, we believe this is not fair for software developers to install their 7search.com codes without user’s permission or knowledge.

You have 24 hours to pay the fine - scam!
The warning that says that you have 24 hours to pay the fine is a typical scam that is associated with the large group of computer infections known as ransomwares. Such applications lock the desktop of infected computers completely, without letting users do anything they want. In the majority of the cases, by the way, this locker is presented in the form of some local police warning that condemns users of committing various crimes online, and this is how the warning explains the reasons for the locked status of the attacked computer.
AVASoft Professional Antivirus.

How to remove AVASoft Professional Antivirus
Can't remove AVASoft Professional Antivirus? If the instructions below aren't clear please visit the main article that explains how this scam can be removed from your system - http://trojan-killer.net/remove-avasoft-antivirus-professional-virus/
What do you think of a program that bears the name of AVASoft Professional Antivirus? You probably believe this application will professionally protect your computer from malware exposure? Do you think it will warn you ahead of time about threat intrusion attempts? Or maybe you consider it to be an innovative security program that is worth installing? If you really think so then you’re wrong. AVA Soft Professional Antivirus is a fake anti-spyware program that is designed by hackers for the only goal of scaring users with fake virus reports and prompting them into buying the so-called licensed version of it. The very fact of infiltration of this scam onto your computer is a sign of poor level of security protection of your system, a proof of weakness of available antivirus that is already installed on your computer. If this is not so, then why did the security software installed on your machine allow this hoax to come into your system initially? This is surely a good question to consider, and it must be put to the world’s security software giants. Regretfully, the appearance of AVASoft Antivirus Professional scam on many computers these days is another proof of the fact that there’s no 100% security protection that could be rendered by security companies these days.
